All Activities and Church Meetings Suspended

Out of an abundance of caution, our buildings are closed to all groups until further notice. As much as it pains us to do, we are limiting access only to staff, treasurer, and wardens. The church is still the church, and we are here to care for one another; however, our love for and responsibility to each other means limiting our proximity for everyone's well-being.

If a pastoral need arises in your home, please contact Fr. Daniel. You may do so by calling the church office at 585.243.1220 or emailing him at wdaniel@stmikesgeneseo.org. Again, our "social distancing" does not mean we cannot extend care to each other. Please make time for prayer, and do join in common prayer with us online. A link to all upcoming services will be posted on the homepage of the website (www.stmikesgeneseo.org), which will be streaming on our Facebook Page and YouTube Channel.

For your own life of prayer at home during this pandemic, you may access the Book of Common Prayer online here: https://bcponline.org. For ways to keep the faith at home with your family, here is a helpful guide with a list of meaningful resources to follow up on: Faith @ Home.

As difficult as it is to be away from one another, the Coronavirus provides us with an opportunity to assess our own spiritual lives, our habits and practices, and to open ourselves newly to the kind of Jesus followers we want to be. Let us make the most of being apart, so that coming together will be all the more meaningful, with new and meaningful ways to gather as Christ's Body, being present in prayer.

Please note: the 24/7 Rogers Chapel at St. Michael's will remain open for prayer. Please do not enter if you have symptoms, and please use sanitizing wipes provided to wipe the door handles and pews that you might touch. Thank you for your cooperation.
