The Very Reverend William O. Daniel, Jr., Ph.D.

I am rector in St. Michael's Church, and I also teach Humanities at SUNY Geneseo. I have taught courses in theology, philosophy, and church history, at both graduate and undergraduate levels. I am the Dean for Liturgy & Formation in the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester, and I serve on the Racial Reconciliation, Justice and Healing Project. I am also a roaster of coffee, sourcing beans from organic and fair trade growers throughout the world. You can follow me at
